By KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the ninth package of EU sanctions will not be the last.
"The European Union approved the ninth package of sanctions against Russia. Ninth, but obviously not the last. Obviously, the pressure needs to be increased," he said in a video message on Friday evening.
"We will work with the European Commission, the leaders of the EU countries, with the public of Europe, so that the current sanctions policy works to end the war and does not give Russia the wrong signals. That supposedly someone is ready to ease the pressure," Zelensky said.
