Shmyhal names app Mriya, Diia.Office and E-residency as future flagship projects in digitalization of country

KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal named the educational application Mriya, Diia.Office for authorities and E-residency as future flagship projects in the digitalization of the country.

“Plans for the future are no less ambitious. They are related to the needs of restoration and further growth. First of all, this is the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Educational Mriya. An application that will help you learn, gain knowledge and competencies, improve your skills, and adapt to the needs of a changing time,” Shmyhal said at the Diia Summit on Tuesday in Kyiv.

The prime minister named Diia.Office as another important project, which will allow for better interaction between civil servants, greater transparency of their work and public control.

“Subject to the complete digitalization of the executive branch, the KPI of its work will increase significantly, and the number of officials, on the contrary, will decrease,” he emphasized.

The third promising project, according to the prime minister, is e-residency, which will allow foreigners to open accounts and conduct business in Ukraine without barriers and bureaucracy.
