"In 2021, Ukraine was among the top ten countries in production of titanium, iron ore, kaolin, manganese, zirconium, and graphite. Moreover, we have concentrated deposits of 22 out of 30 minerals included in the list of critical for the EU. Among them: lithium, beryllium, rare earth elements, nickel and cobalt," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel following his speech at a business forum on strategic partnership in the Ukraine-EU resource sector as part of the European Raw Materials Week 2022.

The prime minister stressed that Ukraine remains committed to the green transition and the achievement of the goals of the European Green Deal.
