KYIV. Dec 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Six European Union countries have not yet joined the declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine: Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Malta, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha said.
“Of the 27 EU countries, only six have not yet joined the joint declaration [on security guarantees for Ukraine],” Sybiha said on the air of a nationwide telethon on Saturday.
According to him, it’s about Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Malta. “I think all these states have the political will to become a party to the declaration,” he said. “We are currently working with these partners to ensure that they also join the declaration,” the deputy head of the President’s Office added.
