KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks in Brussels.
“Productive conversation with my good friend Dmytro Kuleba. I confirmed Spain’s strong commitment to defending the peace, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. We also support the start of negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU,” Albares said on the X network.
In turn, Kuleba said he is grateful to his Spanish colleague for confirming Spain’s unwavering support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, and also for supporting the decision to begin negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
“We also discussed ways to ramp up the capacity of the European defense industries,” Kuleba said on X (Twitter).
In addition, Kuleba said on Instagram that during negotiations with Albares, he showed the Spanish delegation a video of the fighting near Avdiyivka.
