KYIV. Oct 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Markéta Pekarová Adamová discussed mechanisms for the confiscation of frozen Russian assets and the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.
According to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada, the parties also paid attention to the situation at the front, the needs of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, and the preparation and protection of critical infrastructure.
“The situation in Ukraine’s financial sector and recovery are also in focus,” Stefanchuk noted.
He emphasized that one of the main topics is restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. “As, in particular, tomorrow’s Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform will be devoted to this issue,” the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament summed up.
As reported, Stefanchuk is on an official visit to Prague (the Czech Republic) on October 23-24, where the second parliamentary summit of the International Crimea Platform will be held on Tuesday.
