By KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna says that she also counts on a positive decision of the European Council on the financial framework for Ukraine.
“I have an understanding that most likely yes. I spoke with German colleagues who are urgently working on this. Discussions continue, since the decision concerns not only financial assistance to Ukraine, but also a number of other financial issues,” Stefanishyna said on national telethon on Thursday.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the financial framework that is being considered now is in the interests of the EU member states themselves.
