BRUSSELS. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – NATO Allies remain steadfast in their support for Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
On Wednesday in Brussels, opening the first meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers, the secretary general said: “We remain steadfast in our commitment to Ukraine, we are determined that Ukraine will win.”
He said “today Ukraine sits at this table as a full member of our alliance.” According to the NATO Secretary General, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will inform about the current situation on the ground and the specific needs of Ukraine. “The Allies are providing unprecedented military, financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine and supporting necessary reforms on Ukraine’s path to NATO membership,” Stoltenberg said.
He also said Russia’s war of aggression continues to cause untold suffering and threaten the security of Europe and the stability of the entire rules-based international system. The allies continue to support Ukraine in the fight for its security and for European security, the secretary general said.
