Suspect in preparation of false explosion of President's Office building detained in Kyiv – President’s Office

KYIV. Dec 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Employees of the Security Service of the President of Ukraine (SBU), together with the SBU and the National Guard, established the whereabouts and detained a resident of Kyiv suspected of giving a false report about the mining of the President’s Office building on the evening of November 28, 2022.

As reported on the Telegram channel of the head of state, a 51-year-old person from Kyiv turned out to be a false miner.

A mobile phone with a SIM card was found and seized in the man’s apartment, from which a false message about mining was sent. Communist symbols and St. George ribbons were also found in his house.

The man has already been informed of suspicion of false preparation of the explosion of the building, providing the activities of state authorities.

The President’s Security Service has declared its readiness to respond decisively to attempts to disrupt the effective work of the President and his office.
