Ukraine counts on Slovakia's support for electricity imports in winter – Ukrainian PM

KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal talked with his Slovak counterpart Ludovit Odor, in particular, about the power system and Bratislava’s support for Ukraine in importing electricity in the winter.

“Ukrainian and Slovak operators are in close cooperation. We count on Slovakia’s support in winter in electricity imports,” Shmyhal said on his Telegram channel.

Shmyhal also discussed the export of agricultural products, border infrastructure, defense and energy with the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

The Ukrainian prime minister also invited the head of the Slovak government to jointly implement projects to develop checkpoints on the common border to strengthen economic cooperation.
