Ukraine launches platform for emergency digital security assistance

KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Nadiyno, a platform for emergency digital security assistance, has been launched in Ukraine, which will help strengthen own online security, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Digital Transformation on Tuesday.

At the same time, the platform was implemented as part of the Digital Emergency Support for Civil Society in Ukraine project from the NGO Internews-Ukraine, funded by the Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The information partners of the platform were the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the national project Diia. Digital Education.

According to the report, the Nadiyno online platform will help strengthen one’s own online security and protect oneself from online threats, increase the digital literacy of citizens, as well as provide advice on protecting personal data and devices, support from hotline operators and other digital security specialists.

"Residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine can receive recommendations that will be useful to them. For example, which messengers should be chosen, how to prepare for checking a smartphone and avoid wiretapping in the occupation," the ministry said.
