By KYIV. May 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, May 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 650 invaders, four tanks, four armored vehicles, 13 artillery systems, four UAVs and 11 vehicles and special equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Monday.
“The total enemy combat losses from February 24, 2022 to May 9, 2023 approximately amounted to personnel – about 195,620 (up by 650) people liquidated, tanks – 3,734 (up by four) units, armored combat vehicles – 7,257 (up by four) units, artillery systems – 3,031 (up by 13) units, MLRS – 554 units, air defense systems – 307 (up by one) units, aircraft – 308 units, helicopters – 294 units, operational-tactical UAVs – 2,618 (up by four), cruise missiles – 955 (up by eight) units, ships/boats – 18 units, automotive equipment and tankers – 5,969 (up by 11) units, and special equipment – 388 (up by four) units,” the report says.
