Jan 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian aviation launched ten strikes against the areas of concentration of the Russian occupation forces and hit five air defense positions of the enemy in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said in a report on the situation with the Russian invasion of Ukraine as of 18:00 on Monday, posted in Facebook.
On Saturday, December 31, up to ten units of military equipment of various types were destroyed and damaged in Makiyivka, Donetsk region. The enemy manpower losses are yet to be specified, the General Staff said.
"The Russian invaders continue to take illegal actions against local residents in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region. The occupiers collect information about entrepreneurs and seize their vehicles and goods," it said.
