Ukrainian Defense Ministry launches recruiting project in AFU

KYIV. Nov 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching a recruitment project for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The corresponding agreement was signed by Deputy Defense Minister Natalia Kalmykova and head of the Lobby X organization Vladyslav Grezev, the press service of the Ministry reports.

“Recruiters will perform work in the interests of the army for free,” the Telegram channel says.

Kalmykova stressed that this will allow people to use their civilian experience in the army more effectively.

“The project will allow a person to choose a specific unit in a certain position where his/her civilian experience will be most useful. In the near future, as part of the project, we plan to sign the following agreements with recruiting companies,” Kalmykova said.

In turn, Griazev noted that Lobby X has extensive experience in finding personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The army needs people of different professions – from grenade launchers and mortars to programmers and cooks. Cooperation with the Ministry of Defense will allow us to scale up the work that we have been doing,” he said.

The Ministry of Defense is also negotiating with a number of other participants in the employment market.
