KYIV. July 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian defense forces advance by hundreds of meters in the south of the country day by day, pushing back the Russian occupation forces, Deputy Head of the Department of Application Planning of the Main Directorate of the Ukrainian National Guard, Colonel Mykola Urshalovych has said.
“In the extremely hard conditions of mined areas and under enemy fire […] our assault groups, covered by tanks and artillery, continue their gradual advancement to the south and southeast, pushing back the occupation forces from the Ukrainian land. Our soldiers and officers in fact gnaw through the enemy defense,” he told a press briefing at the Military Media Center on Thursday.
