By KYIV. Sept 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian national team won 34 medals at the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine reports.
“On Monday, September 18, a welcoming party of the national team of Ukraine took place in Lviv, which triumphantly returned from the international competitions in adaptive sports Invictus Games 2023. With the support of the Ministry of Veterans, 25 Ukrainian veterans, servicemen and volunteers, who passed the national selection, took part in the Games. Our Invictus won a record 34 medals at the competitions in Dusseldorf: 12 gold, 14 silver and eight bronze medals, demonstrating the best performance in six sports,” the press service of the Ministry said.
