Ukrainian Ombudsman: 510 children die in Ukraine due to Russian aggression

KYIV. Nov 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian army in Ukraine killed 510 children, 1,143 were injured, 2,127 are considered missing, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said during a meeting with members of the Bundestag.

“I’ve had a meeting with deputies of the Bundestag. I emphasized that every day, through its actions, the aggressor country violates the rights of Ukrainians to: life, security, family,” he wrote on the Telegram channel on Monday.

According to the Ukrainian Ombudsman, “the Russian army in Ukraine killed 510 children, 1,143 were injured, 2,127 are considered missing, 13 suffered from sexual violence and the Russian Federation deported or forcibly displaced almost 20,000 children.”

“Russia’s war against Ukraine has claimed the lives of almost 10,000 civilians, and almost 18,000 more were injured,” Lubinets stated.
