By KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In France, at the beginning of 2024, the training of Ukrainian pilots will begin, this will be the initial training, after which they will continue their training in other coalition countries, the French Ministry of Defense said on its website on December 19.
“The first pilots will arrive in early 2024. After the initial training conducted in France, they will continue their fighter aviation training through training conducted by our partners,” the message says.
In addition, it is emphasized that in 2023 France has committed to train about 8,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
“These training courses are planned to be continued in 2024 and extended to other areas (naval and air),” the French Defense Ministry said.
