KYIV. Nov 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United States is creating a group to coordinate the efforts of allies and maintain the level of security assistance support for Ukraine, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said on Friday.
According to her, this headquarters, which will be called SAGU (Security Assistance Group – Ukraine), will be an element of the US Army Command in Europe in Wiesbaden (Germany).
Singh added that the group "will ensure we are postured to continue supporting Ukraine over the long term" and will also help streamline the system of training and assistance, on the fly created by the allies at the beginning of the full-scale war.
