Vereschuk on official visit to Slovakia

KYIV. Jan 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereschuk is on an official visit to Slovakia on Sunday, the press service of the Reintegration Ministry reports.

"Today, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereschuk, on behalf of the Government of Ukraine, is in Slovakia to participate in official events on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Slovak Republic formation," the message says.

It clarifies that the program of the visit provides for communication with President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputová, Prime Minister Eduard Heger and the guests of the holiday.

"Also, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with our fellow citizens who were forced to leave for Slovakia due to Russian military aggression. The meeting will take place at the humanitarian center Gabcikovo," the department stresses.

They assure that the visit will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial partnership, attraction of international humanitarian aid and support to Ukrainian citizens temporarily staying in Slovakia.
