Working group set up under Reintegration Ministry to develop strategy for restoring state authority in occupied territories

KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – An interdepartmental working group has been established under the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine to develop a strategy for the restoration of State power and the reintegration of the population of temporarily occupied territories.

“At the meeting of the Coordination Staff on de-occupied territories, they unanimously voted for the creation of an interdepartmental working group to develop a strategy for the restoration of state power and the reintegration of the population of the temporarily occupied territories,” the ministry’s press service said.

It is noted that its activities will be aimed at coordinating all stakeholders and will include regular meetings to review the development of individual provisions of the Strategy.

The interdepartmental working group includes representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, the President’s Office, the Representation of Ukraine in the ARC, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights and public organizations, in particular, ZMINA Human Rights Center.
