KYIV. Oct 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Pursuant to the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the sidelines of the third meeting on the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula at the level of national security and foreign policy advisers in Malta, head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak had a conversation with U.S. Presidential Adviser on National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan, Adviser to the British Prime Minister on National Security Affairs Timothy Barrow, Advisor to the German Chancellor on Foreign Policy Jens Plötner, as well as Advisor to the President of France on Continental Europe and Turkey Bertrand Buchwalter and Advisor to the President of France on Strategic Issues Xavier Chatel, Yermak said on his Telegram channel on Monday evening.
“I thanked for supporting Ukraine in the fight against the Russian Federation. We discussed the results of a meeting of national security advisers and foreign policy advisers in Malta regarding the Ukrainian Peace Formula, at which five points of the Formula were discussed,” Yermak said.
Yermak noted that representatives of 66 countries took part in the summit, which indicates that “support for Ukraine is growing.”
Yermak also reported that at the meeting with advisers they also paid great attention to coordinating further steps to prepare for winter, in particular, strengthening air defense and missile defense systems to protect our cities.
“We separately discussed the situation in the Middle East,” the Head of the President’s Office concluded.
