KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak is convinced that the issue of returning home Ukrainian children illegally taken to the Russian territory should be raised at high levels, in particular, it should be discussed at the site of the G20 summit, the presidential press service said.
"We really need to draw the attention of the world to what is happening, as this is an absolute genocide of Ukrainians, Ukrainian children, our state, and this needs to be talked about at all possible venues," the press service said, citing Yermak at a meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Protection and Safety of Children on Tuesday.
It is noted that as a result of the meeting, it was decided to invite UN Secretary-General António Guterres, goodwill ambassadors of this organization, ambassadors of the G20 countries, ombudsmen to the meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Protection and Safety of Children, UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
