Dec 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed during a working visit to the United States with representatives of the Senate the war of Russia against Ukraine and the upcoming victory of democracy over autocracy, head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak said.
"There was a fairly productive meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer," Yermak wrote on Telegram.
In particular, according to the head of the President’s Office, the interlocutors "talked about Ukraine, the war and the forthcoming victory of democracy over autocracy."
