By KYIV. Dec 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted the success in the repair and further use of captured equipment.
"At the meeting of the Headquarters, we separately discussed the supply of ammunition and the repair of military equipment. Let me thank our specialists and all our partners, everyone involved in the relevant work. We managed to establish such a system that not only could return the repaired equipment to the battlefield, but also to take captured equipment from the battlefield and put it at the service of our state," he said in a video statement on Tuesday, adding that "this is an essential result of the year."
Speaking about at the Headquarters’ meeting, Zelensky said the country’s leadership understands "what risks there are in winter, we understand what we must do in the spring, and we understand what results the entire defense and security sector should demonstrate."
