KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that on Wednesday morning a Russian plane launched cruise missiles in the area of ​​the "grain corridor."

"This morning, a Russian plane launched cruise missiles near Zmiinyi Island and they actually flew through the routes of the ‘grain corridor.’ And each such Russian launch, and they are almost daily, directly threaten food exports," he said in a video statement on Wednesday.

"It is the partners’ responsibility to work together to reduce the Russian threat," the president said.

He said "the export grain initiative continued to work." "Russian blackmail came to nothing," he said, adding that it was the result of the efforts of UN Secretary General António Gutierres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Everyone make sure that in our region there is only one threat to food security and that is the Russian Federation," Zelensky said.
