Zelensky: Russian commanders, giving orders to destroy civilian objects, are sick

KYIV. May 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russian commanders who give orders to destroy civilian infrastructure are sick.

According to him, during the hostilities since February 24, Russian troops have damaged 570 health facilities and completely destroyed 101 hospitals.

"What is it? This is nonsense. This is barbarism. This is the self-destruction of Russia as a state that at least someone in the world could look at as a cultural nation," Zelensky said in a video message on Thursday night.

"Tonight they struck at Chernihiv region, at schools. Of course, the Russian state is in such conditions that any education only hinders it. But what can be achieved by destroying Ukrainian schools? All Russian commanders who give such orders are just sick. Incurably," said the president, adding that Ukraine will restore everything.
