Zelensky sure that Belarusians have neither sense nor desire to invade Ukraine today

KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Ukrainian journalists, expressed confidence that Belarusians have no sense and desire to invade Ukraine today.

"Yes, the increase in the number of military personnel was seen there [in Belarus] by both people, journalists, and our intelligence. We believe that there is no sense for Belarusians to attack the territory of our state today. And their society has no desire too. And here [in Ukraine] society definitely has no desire," Zelensky said on Wednesday.

According to him, today there are also no contacts at the level of the defense ministries of both states.

"There are no such meetings and contacts. It is clear why: after the missile strikes from their territory – after that, there are no contacts," he said.
