By KYIV. Dec 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the U.S. Congress, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Republican minority leader at the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy, as well as other representatives of Congress and Senate, for allocating additional $45 billion in assistance to Ukraine.
"Thank you U.S. Congress, Nancy Pelosi, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Patrick Leahy, and Rosa DeLauro, for additional $45 bln aid to Ukraine and for U.S. unwavering bipartisan support in our fight for freedom. It’s crucial that American people are side by side with Ukrainian people in this struggle," Zelensky said on Twitter on Friday evening.
