Zelensky visits Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv

KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has visited the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) during his trip to Lviv on Wednesday.

According to the University’s publication posted on Facebook, Zelensky met with Rector Fr. Bohdan Prach. "During the meeting with the president, the rector told what the secret of the success of the university is, which has built a large network of benefactors around the world, and why the Ukrainian Catholic University has been leading the rating applicants for several years: "They trust us because all processes at our university are transparent. Everything that you see in UCU is built on the foundation of Christian values, which are based on God and Ukraine," the message says.

"And it is Christian values that should become the basis for building a civil, highly moral society. Our goal is for UCU graduates to go into the world: to the authorities, public organizations, business, social spheres and scale the influence of our university – to embody changes on the ground and build a renewed Ukraine," the rector said during a meeting with the president.
