Zelenskyy, in his talk with President of Georgia, raises issue of Saakashvili's access to appropriate treatment conditions

KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili on Wednesday, where the parties, in particular, discussed the European Commission’s positive assessment of Ukrainian efforts on the way to the European Union.

“I have had a telephone conversation with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili. I received congratulations from her and congratulated the friendly Georgian people on the positive assessment by the European Commission of our efforts on the way to the European Union,” Zelenskyy said on his Telegram.

The Head of State thanked Georgia for the participation of its representative in the meeting of the leaders’ national security advisers in Malta regarding the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

“And I raised the issue of access of a citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili to proper treatment conditions,” Zelenskyy said.
