Zelenskyy: Situation at front is not stalemate, but a test

KYIV. Nov 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not consider the situation at the front to be a stalemate.

“I think that today the situation is really complicated. I don’t think it’s a stalemate. This is a test from the Russian army,” he said in an NBC broadcast released on Sunday.

“They thought they would checkmate us. But this did not happen. On the contrary, we took the initiative into our own hands. Now Russia wants to test us. They attack us in the east of our country, losing thousands of people and hundreds of weapons. We don’t see it. But in the Avdiyivka direction, 200 pieces of equipment have been lost over the last week,” he said.
