At a UN Security Council meeting in New York on Thursday, Msuya said nearly 14 million Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homes, of which 8 million are internally displaced. Some 227 partners, most national non-governmental organizations have provided humanitarian assistance to more than 5.4 million people, many of them in the east. This increase is unprecedented, according to the official.
