KYIV. May 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – If Ukraine falls, Putin’s next targets of aggression will be Moldova and the Baltic countries, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes.
“Whether Western countries like it or not, you are NATO countries. And I know for sure that if Ukraine falls, Moldova will be next,” he said in an interview with Italian media.
“There will be Moldova, there will be Baltic countries. The Baltic countries are NATO countries. And when, God forbid, they are captured. We respect and love them, but if Putin comes to NATO countries, then you will have to send your children, fathers to war,” the president said.
According to him, “NATO is not only protection, but also responsibility. Your society should know that it is better to help Ukraine than to send your children to war.”
