By KYIV. June 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, has said that there is already a huge amount of public information that irrefutably proves the involvement of the Russian Federation in the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam.
“Data collection continues uninterrupted. There is a huge amount of public information today that irrefutably proves that it is the Russian Federation that is involved in this terrorist attack. Even if we look at the chronology of the reactions of propagandists, the so-called ‘officials’ of the ruscist regime on today’s events, it can be seen: at first nothing happens, then it happens, but partially, and after that Ukraine is to blame, but they [the occupiers] are very happy that the islands on which allegedly, our defenders were based, flooded,” Yusov said on the FREEDOM TV channel.
According to him, the inconsistency of the reactions also indicates the involvement of the Russian Federation in the demolition of the dam.
The intelligence service also stressed that “given the engineering features of the structure, no one except the occupiers had the physical ability and means to produce such an explosion.”
“We have already said that Ukraine publicly informed its partners through other channels that mining and possible undermining are being prepared. This is not a spontaneous act, this is a terrorist attack that has been preparing for a very long time,” Yusov said.
He also noted that the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine “figured out” different behaviors of Russian terrorists, including the possibility of undermining the Kakhovka HPP.
